Dr. Jehu Leconte is a distinguished nonprofit executive, organizational strategist, and advocate for economic mobility whose leadership spans social innovation, workforce development, and institutional growth. As Founder, President, and Executive Director of EDEN, he provides strategic oversight and executive leadership in advancing sustainable solutions for families experiencing homelessness and housing instability. Drawing from extensive experience in nonprofit management and homeless services administration, Dr. Leconte has positioned EDEN as an outcomes-driven organization focused on financial empowerment, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and long-term economic independence.
Under his leadership, EDEN has cultivated strategic partnerships with leading healthcare institutions, philanthropic organizations, and community stakeholders to expand economic opportunities for underserved families. Dr. Leconte directs the organization’s strategic vision, institutional partnerships, resource development, and organizational sustainability, with an emphasis on measurable impact and systems-level transformation. He holds a doctorate in Christian Counseling and a master’s degree in Management and Leadership, integrating executive management expertise with a people-centered philosophy that advances organizational excellence, equitable opportunity, and lasting community impact.

Deidra Leconte is an accomplished human resources executive and organizational leader with more than two decades of experience in human capital management, workforce development, talent acquisition, and organizational effectiveness. As Co-Founder and Workforce Development Instructor at EDEN, she brings extensive executive-level expertise in talent strategy, employee relations, leadership development, and organizational operations. Her professional experience across human resources and public-sector administration provides a strategic foundation for advancing EDEN’s workforce initiatives and preparing underserved individuals for meaningful employment and long-term career advancement.
At EDEN, Deidra plays an instrumental role in strengthening workforce readiness, professional development, and organizational capacity. She integrates industry-informed human resources practices into employment-focused programming, equipping participants with the professional competencies, workplace expectations, and leadership skills necessary to navigate competitive labor markets. Her leadership reflects a commitment to organizational excellence, economic empowerment, and the development of sustainable career pathways that strengthen families and communities.
